Cuddling before bed
Me: Jack, you make the nicest faces.
Jack: God makes faces!
Me: You’re right, God makes faces.
Jack: You forgot?

Eating food he doesn’t like
Me: Jack, take your fingers out of your mouth and swallow your food.
Jack: I’m pushing it down!

Eating a poppy seed bagel
Jack, holding one of the seeds out to me: We should plant this and grow sandwiches.
